Dopo lo straordinario successo della terza edizione, che ha visto la partecipazione di oltre 200 delegati provenienti da 40 paesi diversi, siamo lieti di annunciare il SUM 2018 – 4° Simposio sull’Urban Mining e Circular Economy. Il SUM 2018 si terrà a Bergamo dal 21 al 23 maggio 2018. Il Simposio si focalizzerà sul concetto di Urban Mining e Circular Economy e sulla necessità di guardare oltre la raccolta differenziata e l’attuale approccio basato sulla responsabilità del consumatore, puntando a minori costi per la collettività, maggiore recupero di risorse, maggiore tutela dell’ambiente e crescente coinvolgimento della responsabilità dei produttori.
Il Simposio durerà tre giorni e sarà organizzato in sessioni orali, una sessione poster, workshops, sessioni dedicate alle startup e visite tecniche guidate ad impianti di settore.
Il Simposio tratterà i seguenti argomenti:

Following the huge success of its second edition in 2016, which registered the participation of more than 200 delegates from 40 different countries worldwide, SUM 2018 – 4th Symposium on Urban Mining and Circular Economy will be held Bergamo’s upper city, from 21st to 23rd May 2018. SUM 2018 will focus on the concept of Urban Mining and Circular Economy and the need to look beyond separate collection and the current logic of consumers responsibility, resulting in an increased recovery of resources, better quality of the same, improved environmental protection, involvement of producer responsibility and lower costs for society.
The Symposium will last three days and will include oral sessions, a poster session, startups sessions, workshop sessions and a technical tour at a real scale plant dealing with post-consumer plastic packaging.
